i think we should take a moment to focus on the less fortunate, aka us. while we sit in our offices (cubes) or non-offices (b/c we were recently laid off) or even the comforts of our own home (b/c we have nothing better to do)... we must remember that becky and jeremie are in italy, exploring the world. the lucky bastards.
whilest i truly hope they are having the most amazing time; indulging in decadent european cuisine and avoiding nimble-fingered pickpockets, it's my wild imagination that get me through the day:
simple little daydream scenarios, like:
*becky and jeremie fumbling around with their oversized backpacks (TOURIST RIGHT HERE, EVERYONE, WE'RE TOURISTS),
*jeremie getting frustrated and raging when something won't fit properly (DANG IT! stupid piece of crap, just FIT! blahaowieoi#$^w&$eo*ira!!!),
*taking super campy photos in quaint little italian villages (cheeeese).
*jeremie's scalp getting burned the farther south they travel (heh heh heh, eh?).
*becky wanting to sleep in while jeremie whines b/c he wants coffee and a pastry (pleaaaaaaaase becky, get up?!?).
*both eventually complaining b/c they ate too much (oooh man, i just tweezed my stomach, but it was sooooooo good).
*we need to go north, north is left...NOOO, north is right. but...
*subways, taxi cabs, renting cars, different languages, oooh the delightful frustrations of travelling.
i can't wait to hear about it all. =P
ooooooooh just read their itinerary, looks like they're in florence and it's gonna be rainy and in the low 70s for the next few days. since when has weather.com been right?
i think why your post made me laugh so much because your analysis/scenerio's of those two I can toootally see. So funny. I hope they are having a good time too....sheeeit, I know they are.
