Sorry its been so long since I've posted, but a lot has happened! Thanks to Becky and Jer for their wonderful hospitality in San Francisco. We had so much fun and hope to be able to visit again.
The big news is that Kurt and I now own a house! After we got back from the trip we went looking again and found a house right at the end of October. We closed on it November 18 and just moved in this weekend.
It is a cute little house that was built in 1962, it has 2 bedrooms plus a finished attic room, a cute yard and it even has a matching out-building big enough to be a nice studio! We will finally have a nice place for visitors if they are brave enough to visit the Southeast!

that's so awesome, congratulations! wow, do you have enough stuff to fill it, since you all downsized earlier this year? is it still in the athens area?!? let's go visit, i call the attic room! =)

Anyway, our house is awesome, a dream come true! I'm still getting over the idea that Liz and I are homeowners, I feel like my dad or something, like an actual adult. Weird.
If Jer can explain (again) how to post photos, we will definitely do it. And, yes, anyone who ventures into the great southeast is totally welcome!

The area looks beautiful
Things are going pretty well. Its going to take a while to unpack and sift through everything. The holidays is NOT the time to move! Kurt is working his ass off, so he mainly sleeps there at the moment, not much time to get stuff done. Otherwise all is great. The cat is going nuts trying to explore everything.
