Dirt road, new car...

We (loren, kelly, becky, me) were driving along a gravel road this weekend on the way back from bass lake, and clatter rrrratttle clatter [not the sound of something good] around the front left tire. Loren got out and started walking with the car as I rolled it forward. It sounded WRONG.

We got out of the car and pulled over, and started tapping at the wheel, wheel well and behind around the axle and rotor. Oh, look at that! a rattle in the rotor shield cover. What the hell is it? Let's take off the tire!

We start digging and loren noticed that a stone somehow jumped up and fell in the "hole" that sits right next to the axle.

It dropped down into the space between the shield and the rotor. Stuck... with no way out except the little holes it came in on. We were tool'less in the woods so BEcky and Kelly found some sticks and he started pokin at it from underneath while I looked from above and tried to grab the lil bugger when it popped up. I was paranoid and didn't want to drive with it scraping the hell out of things... especially since the car was bought about 3 weeks ago and I haven't even made the first payment yet.

After about 1.5 hours the little bastard plopped out, sadly. I think it laughed at us and ran down the path. I owed loren and kelly some beer for their patience. Thank you guys for not making me drive with it in there!

Swimming was fun. Lots of nekid ass. Lots of floatation. There is a rope swing there that broke b/c so many people were there this weekend. I guess it is normally pretty chill right? Anyways, I think someone was fixing it when we left.

Awesome place.

It had to hurt a little driving down that road anyway. Nothing like the sound of gravel popping up to hit your nice new car.

yea, totally chill place. you gotta take a day off work and go there...then it's the bizzzle.

It did hurt a little, but I got a wagon so I could do that stuff... so, eternally conflicted I guess.

The more I look at these pictures the more concerned I am at the 2nd one. Jeremie's man bag is a little too close to Lorens head. Gross!
