Ah Jess.
A friend of mine at work has a jeep with no top. At night, he covers the car so it won't get dew inside. He also plays guitar. On the day of one of his shows (the showoffs is the band name) He brought his guitar and amp outside, put them on the sidewalk, and uncovered his car. He then got into his car (hungover) didn't hear the crack of the neck as he drove OVER his guitar, and continued down the street. He then realized that he forgot his guitar, went back, and found this:

Needless to say, he doesn't want to look at it anymore. The thought of his broken-ass guitar makes him feel sick. I raised my hand and volunteered to take it. To which he said "Take it, just fucking take it". So I did.
Next week I am going to take it to a friend's woodshop and try to glue it back to shape. It should be strong enough to hold

We'll see. If it doesn't work, I will saw the neck off and buy a new one. Regardless, I always wanted a gibson, and the pickups should still work just fine. I'll post it when it is all back together again :)

That's a beautiful guitar. One of the guys in Love Me Destroyer had that exact model and I was drooling on it the whole trip, even though I don't play guitar.
