In response to matt's movie post, I would recommend seeing Paris, Je T'Aime. Becky found this one, but she never posts, so I will for her.
It is a film of short films, each one centered around a neighborhood in paris. There are a bunch of notable actors and directors featured in it (Coen Brothers, Wes Craven, etc) and most are great little 5 minute ideas. None get long and boring. It was a good one to check out.
Natalie Portman acts in my favorite short. It was great... check it out.

on another note book suggestions - the road by cormac mccarthy...quick, intense read.
