Snow comes to Georgia

We're starting the year with some actual snow. It snowed all day on Saturday, it almost felt like we lived in the northeast again. Luckily it didn't stick to the streets, but it was beautiful on the lawns and houses. Kurt and I took a walk to enjoy it. We even saw a few snowmen (though it usually took all the snow in on the lawn). Hope you're all having a good January.

Wow - does it actually snow there a lot?

It doesn't at all - we usually get one ice storm a year, but hardly ever snows, at least not as far south as the city. The mountains get some snow - about an hour north of where we work toward Tennessee. It was a nice treat!
