i'd been talking incessantly about wanting a holga camera. jer finally had enough and got me one for christmas. yay! :) after forgetting to take the lens cap off for the first few, i finally starting capturing some of my first medium format pix. i really like medium format and may eventually have to graduate to an adult camera. in the meantime, the holga is awesome!

i took this pic in mendocino - an abandoned train in fort bragg.

What about the Lomo. The pictures look similar.

What is svp? The holgo shoots medium format, and has a plastic lens - which is sort of a contradiction in terms - why would one shoot on large film with a plastic lens? To get crazy effects of course!

Anyways, it is similar to the lomo, cept cool b/c of the med. format aspect. I think this will be a training camera until she has the gumption to buy a real med. format rolleiflex or something
