Someone reeeaaally needs to put this in a techno song. It's brilliant. It knows where it is because it knows where it isn't
There will be a test later.
In accordance with Missy's birthday, it is also the Tippett Pong anniversary, and it is time to start f'in some b---ches up!
But ZabaSearch one of the creepiest web sites out there has me living in
6843 JABONERIA RD
BELL, CA 90201
I don't know here that is. Never been there. Freaked out that it has this as a place of my residence. I wonder if I'm being identity thefted.
yet another camera bit the dust. i'm sad. this keeps happening. whether it attempts sky diving (a drunk frat guy dropping it in the middle of the bar) or random parts fall off (after sliding across a reception dance floor), it hurts my heart to let it go. photos are my oxygen.
i loved my camera. i took care of it - fed it (charged the battery), put it down for naps (when battery died from photo binges), talked to it (hurry up and take the photo you piece of shit!). and suddenly on friday, my helpless SD400 digi elph had a seizure and is currently locked in a coma. very sad. i didn't even drop it or let strangers hurt it. it just stopped.
*push on*
bzzz bzzzzzz bzzzzz error E18. beep beep beep beep.
my point: i realized i've never had to pay for my own camera. they've always been wonderful gifts...but i think i'll have to now. which opens up to so many possibilities. SO, this is what i want....*see link*... it's a Sony, so Mark Leeops Lipsmacker, help a sister out. let's work a deal here. what's yer best offer?? and don't you dare tell me you've gone over limit this year. or i might cry. and remember my birthday is this week. so be nice.
tech suggestions always welcome.*
thank you.

I was thinking of renting a cabin at thanksgiving and having a big ass thanksgiving dinner there. Who wants to do that? Rocco is key, because he has a dog, and a dog in the forest on thanksgiving would be totally awesome. Rob, you should fly down with Carter and Marilea. Justin... you should swing it too. Fuck school.
Think about it. Stuffing, Gravy, Taters, oh man.
So last night in a fit of depression and recklessness I took the clippers to my head and started trimming. I'm bald now. I hate myself.

By the way has anyone seen this? Its pretty good.
Yesterday for lunch I had a fat burrito with brett and his pixar friends. Brett is back from Peru now, so we might gets some pictures in a month or so.
On my burrito, I chose something a bit different:
Chicken, Rice, Pinto Beans, Medium Salsa, Tomatos, Cheese, Guacamole. "Hey, it ain't paragliding or Peru, but its somethin'"
How's that one rob? Maybe a story will happy at splitters which I can share this afternoon. I am feeling a bit uninspired now, I think I need a hobby other than eating.
Look, I know I don't post much, but I'm bored now and you all have abandon me.
Work is slow. I have nothing to do. I'm starting to crack.
"Where's that sharp knife I have?"
Someone post what you for lunch. I don't care..
Lorens skydive story reminded me of this one and since the Tablog is starting to KAK I thought I'd repost it here:
Believe it or not, I had a job packing parachutes for student jumpers one summer for a couple of weeks. T-9s or T-10s I can't remember which. Ram air types were not around then. Anyway, safety wasn't paramount then either. I would get a jump tkt for every 3 chutes i packed and I would sell it for cash or go up with some jumpers. I was too young to jump without mommys consent. I still never have.
No Beechcraft. The club had 2 Cessna's with the seats taken out and no door on the port side. I went with a buddy, the jumpmaster and his brother. The Bro was on his first jump which was a static line. He was F*&kin terrfied! when we got to 3000 he yelled he had changed his mind. Brother Jumpmaster told him to step out on the peg and hold the wing strut like he had practiced on the ground. Poor fool. He did so. I'll never forget the absolutley horrific look on his face when he looked in at us and said "thats long enough! Let me back in!" His brother grabed the frame under the pilots seat with one hand and the door frame with the other and kicked the poor bastard at the hip.
We could hear his howling drop off over the engine noise.
I laughed my ass off at the time. Now I don't think its that funny. What a Prick.
One more.
When your a passenger with no seats you are on the floor with your knees pulled to chest with the seatbelt attached to the floor on either side of the plane. Once we were in the air we had it way loose so we could lean up and look out the window. On the way back to the LZ I notice Prick boy looking up and saying something to the pilot. He looks at both of us and smiles. The pilot pushes the yoke forward and we hit the roof! we seemed to stay there for a second and then, BANG! back on the floor. We shimmy our asses to back wall and tighten the belt while Bevis and Butthead are pissing themselves.
Aaahh happy memories. I bet I could still pack a t-9 too
long one eh?
Saw Snakes on a Plane yesterday. I have been trying to put my finger on whether I liked it or I didn't. I liked it because I laughed at normal dialog, like "Do as I say and you live". I didn't like it because it wasn't aware enough of its own cheese... That it actually is a bad bad movie. The only people who were aware of it were the marketting execs who sold it, and Sam Jackson.
Finally, I came up with the analogy that it is like Mcdonalds. It is Bad - But it is good. I shouldn't have to pay for it because I am going to end up feeling sick. It isn't good for me, but there is a certain flavor that makes me like it. For the movie though, I am angry that I paid normal movie prices... but I wouldn't have wanted to see it on dvd. It would lose even more cheese value.
The movie is crap. The only reason it is good, is because the marketing execs decided that they would try to spin the turd into something different and see what happens. Internet marketting is cheap, so who cares right? If you understand you have been sold when you walk in, you are good to go. (Just like understanding that a Mcdonalds patty isn't really meat even though it is 100% pure beef).
I don't even know where this post is going anymore. Basically it makes me angry when I hear people say "I would go see it again", because that is just retarded.
"Little Miss Sunshine" is the movie to see though, that is a damn good movie.
I can't stop listening to Keane. Love the cd think its awesome.
Also picked up the new Muse CD Black Holes and Revelations. Its like a mix between Radiohead and Queen.
Their latest video for Knights of Cydonia is AWESOME!
Missy's birthday is also coming up some time round this time of year. Everyone say happy birthday. Whoever is in town should come get some brunch with us on sunday morning. Just say "hell yeah". I know it is only monday, but I can't wait for sunday breffas!

Uh.. yeah, and she is more than one year old, but this is the best picture I could find.
The Hobie 21 is fun because its fast but also a little hairy. I've taken people some people out in 15+ knots and they start crying to get off like a kid on a midway ride. Truth is sometimes i feel like shitting my pants too. This is one reason
The leaward hull gets buried in the water and sends the crew to the front of the boat and he pulls you over. It's ok if you don't catch any of the riggin on the way out.
You usually spill your beer too.
Hey everybody! The new Yahoo! photos is released now... so you can check out the site Becky has been working on. Sign in, post photos and realize that all the bugs aren't her fault :)
So post some photos and mail me a slideshow dammit!
Also, you might find some hidden gems of us all over the place, since she designed it, she had to use her own photos as placeholders sometimes. Here we are in italy - the center photo of the montage (hope it loads).. actually, now that I look at it, it seems that becky ripped the whole gallery!
We ain't famous... we imfamus!
Brett is in peru... Here is a post from him... I didn't post the pictures since he will prolly want to post them when he gets back.... Hope he doesn't mind me postin' this one.
Where to start. First off this keyboard blows so you'll have to forgive my mispellings and such. Obviously we made it to peru all in one piece so i guess that's a start. We had some complications with a 4 hour delayed flight in houston which meant we were gonna arrive in Lima at 2am in the morning. We had another flight at 6am the same day so we decided to just sleep in the airport for the first night in Peru and cancel our hotel in Lima. Saved us $40 and a few taxi rides to i guess that's cool. So basiocally the first day in Peru we were totally beat due to 4 airplane flights and onlyh a few hours of sleep, and by sleep i mean the qualilty kind you get on an airplane. My neck was killihng me. When we arrived in Cusco finally we had a taxi driver waiting for us with a name tag to take us to Urubamba for our first few days stay. It was a huge relief to have things starting off smoothly. Taxi drivers are crazy here...im not gonna go too much into it but they basically just drive around honking at people in the way and get only a few centimeters away from walls, other cars, people, and dogs! Kinda fun though. Our first few nights we stayed in Urubamba which was very relaxing. We went rafting dowen the Urubamaba river the second day there which was awesome. Class 4 rapids in some parts. Our hotel wasn't exactly IN Urubamba so we took public buses into the city which was interesting. We'd basically wait on the side of the road for a bus to come by and just flag it down. Inside the buses were pretty stinkyh and crowded but i had a nice conversation with some guy all in spanish. Things like that have been really fun. K / I'm yap'n and giving out too many details right now so i'll keep things less detailed from here if i can.
We just got back into Cusco from out 4 day trek to MachuPicchu. It was amazing. You'll see a ton of pics when iget back but for now i've attatched a few. The first one is of a few l;ittle boys we talked to the day after our first hike. One i talked to a lot was Gregorio * in blue * he was 11 and had 9 kids in his family. We took candy, school supplies, and a few little toys like jumping jacks to hand out to kids like this aloing our trek. They were trilled to say the least. We usually passed out our snacks the the travel agency provided for us as well.
The second picis of some llama's which are everywhere...also alpaca's which I ended up eating one night in Cusco...sooooo good, but i felt bad for eating them because theyu were so pertty on the trails. They also like to eat Guinnea pig here, i haven't done so yet because i had one growing up and i havent been able to bring myself to do it yet, but tonight is my last night in cusco so we'll see if i man up to it.
Next pic is of my trek'n group. Only our guide * Aldo * isn't pictured. I have a very sad story about him which i'll tell another time but he was sooo awesome. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. He was basically like a father to everyone for the first 3 days of our trek and iwe all grew very fond of him. Also this pic is from Ipsacocha Pass which is 4,460 Meters high or something like that...roughly 14,675 ft. That's the highest i've ever travled on foot and probably one of my greatest outdoor accomplishments so i was pretty proud. Luckily i didn't feel the effects of altitude sickness like some. Yay for Coca leafs. I'll tell you more about the entire trek another time.
The next pic is us at MachuPicchu. That place was surreal. I have lots of pics and stories to tell from there but i'm gonna wait on those. All I'll say is those Inca's were pretty amazing people.
The last pic is from Waynupicchu * not sure if that's spelled right at the moment * but it was a 2 hour hike up from MachuPicchu. You can see MachuPicchu in the background * they say its in the shape of a condor, one of the inca's sacred creatures.
So far this first leg of the trip has been awesome. I just wanted to update ya's and let you know i am doing alright. Proly won't emaikl again till i get back so take care and i'll talk to ya's soon.
Here's a little fascinating site....

Tell him Israel doesn't need Reuters help to look bad.
They can do it just as well on their own.
Becky took some great photos of these sand dune flowers:

Music vid
Great video. I could see Jer doing this instead of working out.
Time Fountain
This is freaky and clever.
Also I'm in Vancouver for the week. Go canada!!!!!
AFX - "Chosen Lords"
AFX tends to be way more laid back than Aphex Twin. Less insane plinks and plocks and more analogue goodness. It is a pretty good album... though I don't know if I am going to listen to it all that much. Man I miss "I Care Because You Do" aphex twin. Dangit.
Jurassic 5 - "Feedback"
I love this old sounding shit. Coolness.
Atmosphere - "You Can't Imagine How Much Fun We're Having"
This is a great record. If you like hip hop you should check it out. It is great because it isn't as angry as his last one, but still full of piss and whiteness.
Covenant - "Skyshaper"
Yesssss. Techno angst german sounding vocoder goodness.
Bear with me over the next little while, so I can tweek this thing and make it better.
Hopefully this post will work
I like the music too...done by 'Mew.' Think I'm gonna buy some of their cd's. I totally love finding good commercials, especially with all the crappy ones out there. I have a good deal of respect for someone who can tell an awesome short story in like 2 min or less...or make me laugh with a 30 second joke and then BAM! they're out.
