I didn't want to bump Jer's trip down one ... but, I did want to share these pictures that were brought to my attention today. I hope you haven't seen this article or the anything like it for that matter. Please enjoy.
Over the long memorial weekend, becky and I went to Montreal, Quebec. I had never been there when I lived in Canada, and had heard nothing but great things about it - so we just went. It was a great trip. One of the best parts is the fact that I knew nothing about it and didn't have any idea what I wanted to see... so it was mostly wandering and clicking pictures and hanging out for our 5 year anniversary (yeah, that's right suckers, she still likes me after 5 years).
It was great to see leafy trees again, and part of the fun was trying to speak understandable french. Becky did great, since she has been learning french for the last few years:

Some of the highlights of the trip:
-Steak dinner on our anniversary in Old (Vieux) Montreal
-Walking through the neighborhoods
-Getting dropped off in a cab in Jean-Drapeau Parc and trying to figure out how to get back
-Eating Poutine:

The best part was just getting away for a few days and hanging out together. We have been both pretty distracted lately that it really helped to regroup. I recommend a weekend away from everything once in a while to everyone.
Becky posted way more pictures to flickr than I did, so If you want to click around on hers, check it out, follow this link:
By the way matt... I took a picture of a MOOG store for you. I thought you would freak out. You'll have to look through my photos to find it though, sucker.

If you have the time, check this out. It rebuts "An Inconvenient Truth." My physical geography prof (PhD) posted it on our WebCT.

Loren found a cool way to post flickr photos to the weblog easily. So now you can see the latest uploads. If people posted more, I would probably even make a flickr talblog group, but figured I would be the only poster anyway.
BTW, I hear mark lipsmacker is at yet another new company, but didn't tell anyone anything about it. I don't even know his damned email address anymore.
A big ass ship wreck yielding 500M in gold and silver coins was just brought up by the only publicly traded treasure hunting company. Their stock went up 63% this morning.
Neat.

Police Officer steals Marijunana...bakes brownies...then thinks he's dying...pretty damn funny.
....on a more positive note i'll leave you with another amazing video.

I really want to know what this is for. Some dudes made the most lifelike dinosaur costumes ever. Maybe it is for "Planet Earth: The broadway musical, presented by discover and the science channel" or something
An image of the gps data from our hike in joshua tree. The big white rock on the bottom right-ish was where we saw the climbings chillin'. A pretty good hike at about 2.8 miles round trip. It sounds short, but half was a pretty tiring uphill in 100 degrees.
