i made jer pull off to the side of the road so i could try some crazy settings on my new D80. i need a darn tripod for some of this stuff, but it's so cumbersome.
Our old friend Trent Reznor is embracing new distribution models with his latest release. I've downloaded the free portion - kind of sounds like NIN + David Lynch movie soundtrack to me. http://http://ghosts.nin.com/main/home
Just posted some pictures taken with my lomo that becky got me for the birthday this year. I love this camera. Special thanks to loren (www.underachievers.com) for introducing us to such a special camera.
Saturday night becky and I went to explosions in the sky at the great american music hall. It was an amazing show. Becky convinced me to hang out at the top with her, and I was really glad I did, because the lead guitarist was sitting down for half the show screwing with this effects pedals.
If you don't know the band, listen to this, picture it extremely loud, and from texas.
Since no one else posts, I will post for them! Here are some flickr photos I just found of liz and kurt working in the yard. Too bad there aren't many pictures of the two yard workers....
do you fine people know what's happening in three days?!?! that's right, it's the second best holiday of the year!!!!! ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!! (christmas is an automatic #1)
i'm taking a half day to celebrate my irish heritage (us bochateys are 1/32 Irish, so dont f*ckin tell me i'm not Irish, or you can take it up with great great grandma Gilligan). you should take the day off too and we should all celebrate!!!
The editorial department at work was dumping a bunch of old wedges from starship troopers into the trash. They let us go through them and pick some out, just for the sake of memorobilia.
Of course I grabbed a couple of hero bug shots. I remember seeing this movie on video in college - man it made me want to get into effects. Seeing a tangible image like this makes me sort of sad that we never output film anymore.
Becky bought a new camera, and she is developing an innate talent that I don't think she new she had. Her pictures are f'n gorgeous and are on her flickr stream.
We went to an orchid show last weekend and she didn't look up from the camera. There are some beautiful compositions, colors and organic shapes she captured just by pointing and shooting. Mark - I particularly think you will respond to this work.
Anyways, click through and comment - great stuff beck.
I haven't posted in a while. Life has been hectic - excuses, blah blah work etc. Anyways, to make it up to everyone who still looks at this site, here is a youtube video that will make you cry laughing.
